I have been employed at Strang, Inc. (an A/E/I design firm in Madison) for over 38 years, the last 32 years as a principal of the firm.

On my birthday, 06/06/06, I retired from full-time employment and as engineering department head at Strang. Retiring from Strang Inc and having my own consulting firm, Ornes Engineering, will allow us more freedom for sailing & traveling.

I expect to be providing HVAC consulting services for Strang on a part-time basis, as requested. Additionally, I'll be offering HVAC consulting to others as time permits.
